My How We Change....(at least some of us!)

When I saw this picture while working on the 2008 album, it made me think of....

Avery & Erich

this picture.......

Chris & Erich

Mom says it was taken at the big church in Peotone after Grandma Krapf's funeral. I can't find the date, but Erich must have been 2 or 3 so that makes it 1987 or 1988. Chris would have been 13 or 14.

Then there was this picture taken of Erich & Chris in 2008.

Hmmmmmm........some of us DO change alot!!

Pictures for all

Xmas in July:group photos

Here are the group pictures and generation pictures. This should take you to my Picassa web album and you can download pictures from there. If you have a problem, email me.

Since there were five or six cameras taking pictures of some of the groups, there are lots of shots. I picked out the best pictures with most everyone looking one direction. If any of you want ALL the pictures, just let me know. Have fun!

Sunday Morning

Sunday morning we awoke to share the news that Keith had taken Angie to the ER. As everyone began to gather at Keith & Angie's, Carol and I had begun to prepare for our brunch. Of all the meals, this meal was to be prepared "that morning" - scrambled eggs and pancakes. Well, it's one thing when it's your own kitchen! Carol and I located everything with some help from Keith who had arrived back home. We decided we had plenty of food without the pancakes. When Ryan came over, we drafted him to help cook the eggs. Everyone pitched in and we got brunch made and everyone fed.

After breakfast, everyone again "pitched in" and in no time we had beds stripped, sheets washing and drying, tables and chairs down, the garage back to being a garage, all the food put away, and the kitchen back in order. Thanks everyone for all your help!!

And, Thomas documented the morning with pictures so we could show Angie how things went!

Xmas in July 2009 - now is history

Xmas in July 2009 was Friday, Saturday, and ended on Sunday after brunch. Pictures will soon be posted when I get them all sorted. I downloaded all picture-takers photos on Sunday. I will sort and put together soon.

All went well except Angie's trip to the ER (early Sunday morning) and resulting hospitalization for diverticulitis!!! (Guess it wasn't the bbq!) Last year Angie had a sinus infection and this year.....well!!! Ok, Angie, that's enough!! Glad you're home! I'll post the Sunday pics first so you can see we did get things figured out!!
